Information Doorway is launching the Best Blog Contest.  The concept will be to find a site with the best design on their blog. Not simply just the best appearance, but the layout from a webmasters perspective as well. A great design, IMO, will be a blog that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also easy to use and laid out in a manner to make money in an efficient manner. The blog will be laid out to get the most potential out of their ads, and also get the most potential for their advertisers.

 

Criteria and guidelines we will be using to judge. These are the things we will be looking at when deciding our winners :

 

• Must be a blog
• Unique design
• Catchy or pleasing design
• Color scheme
• Layout of ads (Google, Yahoo, Adbrite…)
• Layout of advertising (banners, buttons, text links…)
• Ease of use for readers

 

 

How to enter and rules

 

To enter the contest, you must use the contact page on this site and use the form to send me your site. You must also place something about my site on yours to prove ownership. A link to the contest here or the site in general would be appreciated, but a hidden page or text for me to see for validation will be acceptable. Just include something on your site when sending me your link to verify ownership. Too many scammers out there and I want to make sure that someone isn’t trying to pull a fast one by claiming someone else’s site as their own! So when entering via the contact page, please include the following:

 

1 Your name
2 Your email address
3 Link to your site
4 Link to verification on your site

We will acknowledge all entrants via email, and will be updating threads with a link to all the entrants sites as we move forward. Everyone who enters will have a link back to their site in one of our update posts for all readers to view and learn from.
