Got an email today from Michael Aulia, the webmaster of CravingTech.com, about his new contest 'Win a Creative EP-3NC Noise Cancelling Earphones' on his blog.
To win the Creative EP-3NC earphones, simply join the contest.
Here are the contest rules:
- Subscribe to Craving Tech’s RSS Feed OR be a fan of Craving Tech on Facebook.
- Share about this contest post to your friends (either in twitter, facebook, a blog post, or anything else).
- Tell Mike why do you need a noise cancelling earphone (this has no effect in winning the contest but something to help identifying why the EP-3NC is a good thing to own). Doesn’t have to be a long one.
IMPORTANT: Please put a comment here with the proof of number 1 & 2 and also your answer to number 3 so I can identify you if you win.
That’s it! Oh and I forget to let you know, unfortunately this contest is only for you who reside in Australia or New Zealand. Winners will be contacted by email that you use to comment. Winners will be selected by random on 25th June 2010!

The Creative EP-3NC earphones also come with three different eartip sizes to cater to most listeners, plus an airplane adapter, an AAA alkaline battery and a soft travel pouch for storage.
We’ve never liked headphones that use active noise cancellation because they simply mask environmental noise by generating background hiss. But Creative’s Aurvana X-Fi headphones are almost good enough to win us over.

“Just as good at noise cancelling as Bose’s QuietComfort 2, and they make your digital music sound better too.”

Wow very funny post and also looking very impressive thanks for great sharing.
I’d really like these headphones because I do a lot of sound editing and production, and due to cash restrictions, I have a $5 pair of eadbuds from Marshalls. They work, but they don’t cancel sound at all, and I end up having to play my music rather loudly.
These are really good headphones. My jogging route is fairly noisy around the evening time and with these on, you can focus fully on your music or whatever you want to listen to. Don’t think anyone will want to go back to normal headphones after using these.

I personally think Apple should always be on their toes, and afraid of competition, I mean if they don’t, someone can sneak up on them and really give them a run and compete with them.
But the thing is that Apple are still such a niche product in so many ways that it’s hard for anyone to directly compete with them for anything without diverging away significantly from the norm.
